O Centro de Educação Superior da Foz do Itajaí (CESFI) foi criado em 20 de Maio de 2010 e é um dos centros que compõem a Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC). Localizado em Balneário Camboriú, é vinculado ao Campus V da Universidade (Vale do Itajaí) e oferece, atualmente, os cursos de graduação em Engenharia de Petróleo e Administração Pública.
The State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), founded in 1965, has its main campus in Florianópolis, which is the capital city of the state of Santa Catarina, located in the south of Brazil. As a public institution, it offers free courses and it is in the spotlight as one of the best state universities in the country. UDESC is divided in twelve university campi in ten cities around the state, and each campus is strategically located in different regions with the purpose of supplying each region’s needs. Besides its twelve university campi (face-to-face instruction), UDESC also offers distance learning.
